The Importance of Digital Safety: Lessons From My Workshops
In today’s digital world, being online is second nature for most of us. We browse the web, use apps, and connect with people worldwide—but how often do we stop to think about digital safety? During my journey as a coder and student, I realized how crucial it is to not only protect myself online but also to help others do the same. This is why I started organizing digital safety workshops in my school, community, and even internationally, to raise awareness about the importance of staying safe online.
Through these workshops, I’ve learned valuable lessons about what digital safety really means and how it can make a huge difference in our daily lives. Here’s what I’ve discovered:
1. Digital Safety Is Everyone’s Responsibility
One of the biggest lessons I learned from conducting my workshops is that digital safety is not just for tech-savvy people—it’s something everyone should understand, from young kids to adults.
